I’ve gotten along fine most of my life not having a real mother-daughter relationship. I’ve always figured things out and done the best without her…but the whole planning a wedding without a normal mother daughter relationship is weird and sucks so hard.
Marriage is scary but not in the ways I thought it would be scary. Thinking super long term about things freaks me out. One day one of us will die and the other will have to live without their best friend. Now all I want to do is cuddle with Mike and never let him go. Love is super intense sometimes. Maybe I should stop reading articles about end of life cancer treatments after midnight. Maybe the scariest part is that I’m dumb enough to do that. GOODNIGHT.
